On Saturday it was the turn of our string duo to get it's wedding season underway. We were booked by Mel and Luke to provide music for their wedding ceremony and drinks reception at Castle Goring in West Sussex, the 18th century home to Lady Colin Cambell better known to some as 'Lady C' from the ITV show 'I'm a celebrity - Get Me Out Of Here.'
We set up in the beautiful Ceremonial Hall for the wedding ceremony. We played for the guests for 30 minutes prior to the ceremony and then for the ceremony playing Pachelbel's Canon for the arrival of Mel, 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight' and 'A Thousand Years' for the signing of the register and a rousing rendition of Mendelssohn's 'Wedding March' to end proceedings. We then quickly relocated to one of the main reception rooms in the house where we continued to play during the drinks reception.
