On Sunday the string quartet was back in the New Forest for a wedding at the Elmers Court Hotel and Resort in Lymington.
It was our first visit to the this hotel which is beautifully situated on the banks of Lymington Harbour. We set up in a small gazebo on the manicured lawns of the hotel. Here we played for the wedding guests prior to the ceremony. For the arrival of the bride we played 'Canon in D' by Pachelbel, for the signing of the register 'Kiss from a Rose' by Seal and 'Paradise' by Coldplay and we finished with 'Kiss Me' by Sixpence None The Richer. This song has Royal associations as it was used as the closing song in the BBC's broadcast of the wedding of Prince Edward at the request of the Royal Family. You can't get a better recommendation than that!! We then entertained the guests for the rest of the afternoon.
Congratulations to our clients Karen and Tom.
