Easter weddings 2017

This Easter has been a busy period for both the string quartet and string duo with both ensembles performing at a trio of weddings in three different counties.

We started on Wednesday 12th April with our string quartet at one of our favourite venues Goodwood House in West Sussex. Here we played for the wedding reception of Tina and Luke in the opulence of this beautiful period house. We started by entertaining the guests on the grand portico entrance to the house before moving into the magnificent ballroom where we played the wedding couple into the wedding breakfast.

On Good Friday 14th April our string duo was booked to play for Jane and Colin's wedding ceremony and drinks reception at the lovely Master Builder's Hotel in Buckler's Hard in the New Forest. For the wedding ceremony both the bride and bridegroom entered to The 'Flower Duet' by Delibes, for the signing of the register we played 'What a Wonderful World' by Louis Armstrong and for the exit music we played 'All You Need Is Love' by the Beatles.

On Easter Saturday 15th April we were back in the cars for a trip to Brighton in East Sussex. The string quartet had been booked for Luke and Sasha's wedding ceremony and drinks reception at the Hilton Metropole Hotel which was the former Grand Hotel in Brighton. We played for the wedding ceremony in the spacious Clarence Suite of the hotel and accompanied the bridal party into the ceremony with 'Chasing Cars' by Snow Patrol, we then played 'Latch' by Sam Smith and 'Signed Sealed and Delivered' by Stevie Wonder for the signing of the register and 'Crazy in Love' by Beyoncé for the exit music. We continued to play requested music throughout the drinks reception.

A very big thank you!! to all our clients for their bookings and we wish them all every happiness in their future lives together.
