The string quartet was back at the lovely converted Tithe Barn in Ditcham near Petersfield yesterday for the first of our two visits this year to this beautiful wedding venue.
The wedding ceremony took place beneath the fantastic timber vaulted ceiling of the barn to the following music requested by Natalie and David the bride and bridegroom. Natalie entered the ceremony to 'Canon in D' by Pachelbel, during the signing of the register we played 'Your Song' by Elton John and 'Kiss from a Rose' by Seal and the couple left the ceremony to 'Bittersweet Symphony' by The Verve.
We then continued to play for the wedding guests during the drinks reception but as the weather was not too good we set up in the entrance vestibule rather than outside. We played a number of requested arrangements during this session including 'This Years Love' by David Gray, 'Rolling in the Deep' by Adele and 'In My Life' by the Beatles a special request for the father of the bride.
A Master of Ceremonies lead the day's proceedings and at the end of our booking he had all the guests gathered to thank us for our contribution to the day, which was a really nice touch 😃.
Congratulations to Natalie and David and may they have a great married life....
